Never underestimate the power and joy of a sinfully decadent dessert! I love a good cobbler, homemade brownies, and banana pudding but my number one favorite dessert has always been a cake - homemade with love.

Does anyone remember a time before we had cell phones? We had conversations, sat, and talked to one another. Family is everything and each gathering creates new memories. My daughter Margaret and I love this cake and discovered it at the Peninsula Grill in Charleston. Later, she had one made for her wedding at the Windmill Harbour Yacht Club, Hilton Head Island. It’s the perfect centerpiece for your holiday gatherings.
